Guns? The way the character is positioned in that gameplay pic, do you think it might be a Mass Effect type game?

when was the last time tri ace made a good game?

Star Ocean 4.

I don't agree, SO4 was average to mediocre.  I rented it and really couldn't get into it.  Of course that is my opinion.  I also didn't like valkyrie profile.  What other games have they done?

Except IU, nothing else recently.

Awesome, more RPG love for the HD consoles.

*crosses fingers for a Turn Based Traditional RPG*

Turn-based RPGs have never been tri-Ace's forte, so I wouldn't expect one here. It's just not what they do.

Still, they're teaming up with Sega for this one? That surprises me.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

Be the ultimate ninja! Play Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN today! Poisson Village welcomes new players.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

Sweet! I want some more tri-ace love, and this game from the screens looks to be a more mature title :D

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
