Forums - Nintendo - The one thing the Wii is missing to be able to please all Gamers...

Once Wii software is on the go then, all the seasoned gamers will have to appreciate where gaming is going on that platform.

But for not people are making due with Wii type games like Wii Sports and Wii music that are meant to appeal to the expanded audience and GC games with waggle. (Not talking about new play)

Even Mario Galaxy barely seemed to be designed for the Wii, or the Wii just wasn't designed for it. The 2 player function was weak or ambient at best.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Nah, Rare is not the same anymore. Most of the talented people have left and formed different companies.

With Wii Nintendo will never be able to please all gamers, since the graphic-core will always automatically dismiss anything on Wii.

However to please the average core gamer (not in any order):

1) Release Fatal Frame
2) Show whatever Monolith Soft is working on
3) Show whatever Retro is working on
4) Kid Icarus?
5) Let Intelligent Systems make a new Wii game
6) StarFox, 1080, F-Zero...
7) Donkey Kong Country 4
8) Mario Galaxy 2

Oh and obviously: Announce a real Wii Zelda

Isn't that Nintendo's E3 lineup?

Seriousuly, I would think that 2, 3, 1/4, 5/6/7 and Zelda could all be easily announced/done.

Mike from Morgantown

Well, everything is that list is a realistic possibility and I think most of these will be released on Wii eventually.

People need to realize how much Nintendo has already released and announced and what is still in the pipeline. Because Retro and Monolith ARE doing something and these are definitely NOT casual games,

@JGarret: Well Reggie has said Nintendo is not the publisher in the US. For Europe it was on the releaselist for February, but nothing has been heard of it ever since. What I don't understand is that Nintendo published this in Japan, but simply lets it rot. In the meanwhile Reggie is complaining why RE5 is not on Wii. I know everything at Nintendo is about the bottom line, whuch is obviously extremely smart, but I'm sure leaving the game unpublished doesn't exactly light up the wallets.

Yes more Zelda and Mario! I also want an F Zero game, Kirby game, etc...

Nintendo still doomed?

Rare hasn't done much of anything exciting since Perfect Dark or Banjo Tooie on N64.

Rare is missing their two best developers chris and tim stamper. Without them, rare is nothing.

If we're going by genre and game type, then the Wii is lacking in Sim racers, WRPGs, Flight sims, combat RTS's and lots of other "hardcore" types of games. Whether it will get those specific games or not is unclear, but it will definitely continue to see tons of great games that appeal to an incredibly wider section of the market than the other two consoles ever will.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
