I'd argue that when it works Gears 2 is the best...the lag makes that about a 50-50 chance though.

So I'd go with Gears 1. Though from XBOX Live statistics, I'm definitely in the minority compared to COD and Halo 3.

For me it goes resistance 2, unreal tournament 3 (titan pack expansion), Call of duty 4, and Killzone 2 for fps. For party games nothing beats Little Big Planet, 4 players running around in a physics filled environment, user generated levels, and only your imagination to hold you back = FUN on the ps3. If you like rpg's go with either v.c., oblivion, fallout 3, folklore, eternal sonata, or soon to be released tales of vesperia.
