Never played Eye of Judgment, Pain, Flower, Killzone 2 (FPS cover system?), Resistance 2 (Where did you find another console shooter with 8-player online co-op with seperate story along with 60 man multiplayer?).

I am sure I can find plenty more, but acting like LBP was the only one is far from the truth.

Nope, what's so unique in CCG? input method?; nope, never heard of it, can't say anything about it; yes, and played in all previous efforts of this team, rather cool, agreed; demo only, overall single-player mediocre at best from what I've seen, fps cover system is a common thing these days, you know; nope, only R1, can't say I enjoyed it, so not gonna get R2, but hardly an online fps would blow my mind, 'cos I prefer single-player driven experience, which is not so hot in fpstps genre nowadays.

You have cards that the Eye Toy can identify, then display on screen complete with animations, etc... , allowing you to play online with opponents all around the world.

As for cover system being common these days in FPS. There is a difference between a cover system and using the duck button behind something.

Thing is that these are still new ideas and it almost seems as if you write them off only because you do not care for them.

You know what Ninty should say... Our console sales are as big as Microsoft or Sony combined. Sony keeps attacking Nintendo with the dsi and stuff like that. Sony deserve to get their ass wupped!

Actually Sony is trying to make new games, i dont see Ninty trying very hard.....and the end i will playing MAG, Uncharted2 and so on and you will play with the Ninty's sales

Strange...   I don't remember enjoying Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Endless Ocean, Wii Play, Captain Rainbow, Another Code, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Personal Training: [enter type here], Soma Bringer, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Flash Focus, Elite Beat Agents, etc. on the NES, SNES, GB, GBA, N64, or even the Gamecube...  Maybe Nintendo is making new games perhaps?

Goal posts to receive an epic shove in... 3... 2... 1...

Just to make it clear, I know the difference between cover system and ducking ;)

That is because you are a kiddy-pokemon-lover...according to Sony's PR

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I just don't understand how it is spun into a negative though? They have larger studios and are able to deliver more games to gamers. And most of the games are quality. What is the matter?

Simple. As gamers we should worry more about Sony cutting back and making less games than giving us more games.

It just dawned on me - of course Sony would have a bigger dev team size than Nintendo. What justifies the larger budget cost for an HD game over a Wii game? Graphics, of course. HD development has a heavy budget toll in the art department. You will have to hire 4-5 times as many people on your HD art team to make the same deadlines as the SD devs.

As for MS, it could just be that they don't really have much of a 1st party team these days, just a few 2nd parties they bought outright.

Well, if cover system is so common in FPS games these days name me some console FPS or any FPS that allows you to go behind cover, move along the cover and lean out for shots.

They're just stating a fact. And any statement by a Sony employee will result in a 10+ page thread. Sony could say "The PS3 is black" and it would still happen.

Theres nothing stupid about facts, sony has bigger first party studio then nintendo and MS combined

Oh but there is about this one. See, Sony's first party is severely lackluster compared to Nintendo's. So by boasting of a larger first party, they are saying that with a bigger staff, they still can't compete with Nintendo's first party, which apparently is smaller. Thus, in turn, it can be translated that he is saying Sony's first party dev teams aren't nearly as talented as Nintendo's.

Sony... lackluster?
So what have Nintendo 1st and 2nd party studios  got in store for Wii this year, then?

Punch Out, Wii Sports and repackaged Gamecube games. Yay!

Meanwhile, Sony has lined up for PS3 in 2009...

Killzone 2 and MLB 09 (already out), Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Ratchet and Clank Future 2, Uncharted 2, InFamous and maybe even Gran Turismo 5.

I know which list looks lackluster...
