Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Game Assessment website

Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

Ok it's in the Herald Sun, Tuesday, April 7, page 19 half way down the page just above a Optus Mobile deal with a free XBOX 360 :P

No people are buying it because they want the features, they wnat to upgrade and a lot are probably buying for it's potential.

it has double the power as the DS Lite and 4 times the RAM so ... yeh

Ok even if it has double the power and four times the ram are game developers going to exploit all of the potential when the would be leaving out almost 100 million user of the original and DSL? I don't think that there will be very many just DSi games that come out from developers besides maybe Nintendo.

Get your Portable ID!

End of 2009 sales predictions:

PS3 - 33 Million     360 - 40 Million    Wii - 75 Million

That's why they have DSi enhanced and DSi hybrid cards, so they can have DSi only features that will distinguish them from other games and ultimately sell more than the competition

Whats the fuss about this thingy called DSI? How does the new DSI make gaming better???

Camera, hello no. online, a little bit.

I dont see any major upgrade over DS Lite from a gaming point. People are just buying for the brand name, thats it.

failed to mention DSiWare and the huge upgrades in processing power and ram

all you ds haters always fail to mention the details that makes the dsi better .

what is it? you guys are afraid of giving nintendo some credit on actually making an upgrade that is more than just upgrading the asthetics?

or is it that you guys pick and choose the upgrades that lean more on the "casual side" to make nintendo sound like less of a threat??

So how will future games capitalise on the increase in processing power? Its a nice upgrade but I don't see any developer cutting off 80% of a console's potential sale by making game only compatible with DSI. I expect only when the majority of DS Lite are phased out for good would developer start making games that utilise the additional power, that could be years!

Perhaps this has more to do with additional software and gui? I can see room for improvement here, especailly new features to do with the camera etc, but as far as game is concern, I'm not holding my breath.

No wonder it was advertised heaps.
