Sony might do it, if the PSP2 has BC with the PSP. Then I think Sony might just do it.

That's assuming the rumors of UMD's going the way of the GBA slot on the DSi aren't true.

I think Sony would do it anyway. Retailers would be selling vouchers for the downloading of a game, so Sony would probably still do it.

I still doubt it is the PSP2. A PSP 4000 model seems more likely considering the big amount of games announced for the PSP this year.

If they were to release a PSP2 they'd rather put their resources into the new handheld instead of pushing the old one.
