You realise this will be a very large, heavy and power-hungry laptop? It will also cost over $1500 and have a battery life of only a few hours if not on charge?

As long as you understand that, then you want a laptop with one of the following graphics chips. No lesser chip will do it:

- Mobility Radeon 3850
- Mobility Radeon 3870
- Mobility Radeon 3850 X2
- Mobility Radeon 3870 X2
- Mobility Radeon 4650
- Mobility Radeon 4670
- Mobility Radeon 4830
- Mobility Radeon 4850
- Mobility Radeon 4860
- Mobility Radeon 4870
- Mobility Radeon 4870 X2

- Geforce 8800M GTS
- Geforce 8800M GTX
- Geforce 9700M GTS
- Geforce 9800M GS
- Geforce 9800M GTS
- Geforce 9800M GT
- Geforce 9800M GTX
- Geforce GTS 150M
- Geforce GTS 160M
- Geforce GTX260M
- Geforce GTX280M

I have chosen everything equal to or faster than a desktop 9600GSO/HD4670, both of which play Crysis just under 30fps at 1680x1050 resolution and Mainstream quality.

I hear laptops have built in keyboards now , you should get one of those .

Yeah, so if you want a laptop that plays Crysis it needs to have one of those graphics chips.

Buy a desktop if you want to play Crysis. Gaming and laptop should pretty much never go in the same sentence. I know this and I don't even PLAY PC games.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

You want a laptop for work that plays Crysis... This isn't going to end well lol.

In the second year at uni I had a laptop that had football manager installed. My grades dropped sharply as I often thought that five minutes on football manager before work wont hurt anyone.

I recommend u post this thread in the PC forums so u get more replies and better help :)
