My problem with The Conduit is this game hasn't even come out and Wii owners are hyping this to be one of the greatest games ever. I never give my thoughts on a game before its release because who knows what it will actually play like.
Also is anyone aware the company that developed the game typically makes crap games? Their best rated games came out like 8 years ago. To make matters worse Sega is publishing the game and everyone knows 99% of the games they touch nowadays are terrible. I'm just saying if its developed by shit, its published by shit, it might be shit.
Here's some of their games if anyone is interested in seeing their previous work. http://www.gamespot.com/games.html?type=company&mode=12851&sort=score&dlx_type=all&sortdir=asc&official=all

First off, nobody is saying that this will be one of the greatest games ever. However, I did see a lot of talk about Killzone 2 being that before it was released. Either way, most people seem to agree that this simply looks to be a good game.
Second, yes, EVERYONE is aware that HVS's previous games have been crap. This is nothing new. Are YOU aware that previous games were licensed shovelware where the publishers decided pretty much everything and HVS had no say, while with this game HVS put off getting a publisher for the longest time and built the game themselves just so they could make it according to their own vision?
Third, 99% of the games Sega touch nowadays are terrible? Are you serious? SEGA are one of the few developers around that aren't crap nowadays. The stuff that sucks is mostly Sonic games, and even that has started to die down imho.

I was exagerating on how excited people are about the game, but obviously there is a lot of hype going around. Killzone 2 btw was hyped aswell, but it still looked a lot more promising than The Conduit. Eitherway people need to calm down and atleast wait for some reviews to roll in before getting so excited.
Do you think publisher threw money at HVS so they could develop shit games? Do you honestly believe they wanted games that would get horrible reviews and not sell?
I'm sorry... 98% of Sega games suck. Or atleast they are not worth playing.
