This goes out to the Wii fans on here, first and foremost. For MONTHS, The Conduit has been talked up on here as being something awesome and so on. This developer's diary video makes it look kinda cool, in the customizing of the layout and so on:

But, the impression I get from it is: If you only system you own is a Wii, and you don't have a PC, PS3 or 360, then this would be worth considering.
So, why should anyone else who owns a 360 or PS3 or PC that can play up to day FPS titles care about this? One can argue for Metroid Prime doing something unique, and it is METROID after all. But, the Conduit? Why would anyone outside a Wii-only owner care about it and discuss it?
Contrast this with discussions of Unreal Tournament (for AI), Gears of War and Killzone 2 (for graphics), and Halo (number of mods and players online). But the Conduit? Seems to me like a poorman's alternative to a bunch of other games on more powerful systems. However, please correct me here. Why should anyone who owns something else besides a Wii care about it? Are we back to the world has to buy it so that the Wii gets more then Carnival Games? Or, maybe it is to save Sega from going under.
