It's too bad they will all underperform and fail to move hardware.

Yeah... KZ2 and anything Sony has already released set the charts on fire.

Also what's this talk about GoW3? Doesn't Microsoft own the right to it like Halo? And even if they didn't Microsoft has the money to keep it exclusive while Sony trying to get more money out of publishers.

Maybe, but as it stands now, 360's line-up for 2009 isn't all that exciting for me, personally. I'm hopeful that we will see some explosiveness at E3, like last year, but regardless, 360 still has a decent line-up. remember M$ saying they would provide mroe of a peek into the future last year, and we are still waiting...

I sure hope Microsoft can keep releasing sequels to Halo and Gears of War until eternity.  Otherwise their sales would be screwed.

That kind of thinking  made the Wii number one. That lack of thinking made PS3 dead last :(.

well june will be coming up shortly.........only 2 notable games from 360 halo wars and ninja blade released in 6months, they will have a few good games latter part of year though

Who do you think is going to make this game? I think Lionhead is more of a 2010 title, Rare maybe, Valve just dropped L4D, Epic just released GeoW2, and Bungie is working on Halo ODST. I don't think Alan Wake or Splinter Cell will hit in 2009. I think that Forza 3 is the best possibility.

Wait a minute. Did you say quality? Microsoft has never been known for quality. Everything they have ever released has been so full of bugs that patches or re-releases have been neccessary. This is the main reason I don't have an X-Box or a 360.

That being said, they do know how to market to an American audience. I think they will do whatever it takes to make the 360 the most popular console they can. Their goal is to push Sony out of the console business so they can have 100% HD market. Originally, they were trying to knock out Nintendo as well. Don't believe me, look at history. If they could attain a monopoly on the gaming industry like they did with the computer industry, they could start releasing what they wanted, when they wanted.

This is what I have against Microsoft. I will admit the X-Box 360 is a very good video game console with a very nice "Live" experience. Just remember, when it comes down to it, Microsoft can not be trusted. At that note, neither can Sony or Nintendo. Nintendo did it to Sega, Sony did it to Nintendo. Let's just remember that instead of hyping our favorite console and trash talking the rest, they all need to be there. Your favorite console would quickly become your least favorite if they were to get 100% market share. Proof = look at Vista.
