Probably the best post in the thread. If you're going to mention God of War 3, however, you may as well mention Halo: ODST and Mass Effect 2 on the 360.  Also, for games already out, Valkyria Chronicles and Res 2 are pretty good, and Disgaea 3.

PSN's freeness comes with it's fualt's...Lack of out of game voice chat while playing a game online is a real stiffer....and WiFI is only good if you lucky to get a good signal with a wep isp..or you have to have your own WiFI running...which is really not that big of a plus....but I must say that the PS3 has great first party games....overall...360 is still a bit better but Sony is ending thqt soon...MS needs to blow e3 2009 away o keep it's slight edge

the new x-box 360 elite bundle with fable 2 and halo 3 + wireless headset and controller for $399.  is pretty enticing if'n you ask me.

 

if I had some extra cash...i'd do it.

Dont forget, an addition $50 every year to play online and access XBL.

Don't forget, an additional $100 if he plans on using a wireless connection, like many others do.

lol... nobody needs a wireless connection.
Why would you want a slower speed?

And you got it wrong, you don't have to pay to access Xbox Live.
Xbox Live Silver lets you do everything except Online multiplayer.
And it is free.

if your goina be playing alot online, wireless connections are definatly not the way to go

An ethernet calbe>then wireless anyday because wireless can drop connection pretty easily

Also you don't have to pay to access Xbox Live...that is free (silver account)  If you want to play games online then you have to pay...But imo Halo 3 multiplayer is fun enough to merit the yearly cost of xbox live

Well at the moment, I can only advise 360 for RPG's. It has way more WRPG's, and a vast current Jrpg selection. Same with shooters, Gears 1, Gear 2, Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead are worth the price tag alone.

It also has already a good 09 setup. Look at my sig for a start. But the choice is yours my friend. :)
