We can argue opinions all day, it doesn't change the FACT that people should just enjoy their games and quit worrying who's are better/worse.

I do enjoy KZ2, but sometimes I'd enjoy it alot more if it had co-op/splitscreen - I personally really like gaming with friends when they're right here in my room. Whenever I have people over, KZ2 usually sits there collecting dust.

The old "collecting dust" term, huh?  How original.  If you want a co-op game for guests, you would generally pick a co-op game.  Your statement is like me saying, "RR7 collects dust when I want to play a FPS game."  Games have different categories.  Obviously, if you're looking for multiple players on the same console, you wouldn't try Killzone 2.  Geez.  You would put in Motorstorm 2, Wipeout HD, UT3,  or something.

Is it really? GoW2's graphics are already amazing as it is and they managed to keep co-op/splitscreen in the game. It's likely that it could've looked much better if they didn't include those, but this is why Epic has much more respect than me than GG ever will - they didn't sacrifice gameplay in favor of visuals.

Good graphics are always welcome, but I personlly won't welcome it when they get in the way of what a video game is supposed to be about.

See?!  This is the kind of crap that needs to stop.  Stop trying to take credit away from Killzone 2 to make you feel better.  Framerates in co-op dips in the teens.  Even then, the online only deals with 10 players MAX.  Killzone 2 deals with MUCH larger environments, MANY more effects, more animations, AND over 3x the amount of people.  That doesn't even touch on the audio.  PLEASE just stop the non-sense.

What non-sense? It's not like I ever said the game was bad. I still play it often. Still though, I'm not gonna give KZ2 any credit when it comes to technical achievements. Sure it looks pretty, but I don't play video games gawk at graphics.

As for having GoW2 having only 10 players max, here's a better example: Warhawk. 4player online splitscreen with 32 others. I wouldn't even join the 32player matches in KZ2 - they're an absolute mess.

Sound - Killzone 2 (By miles and miles)

Above are my personal observations, I've found that while Gears of War does appear to be slightly sharper, there is just so much more going on in Killzone 2 that overwhelms the senses. The sound is probably the most impressive to me, it has to be the best sound that my DTS-HD certified speakers have ever produced.

I've probably been sounding like I'm insulting the game, but I really do like it. If I'm insulting anyone, it's GG for making those sacrifices.

Sometimes my friends and I would rather play KZ2 but having to pass the controller around pretty much kills it so we end up playin somethin else.

I know bro, I'm all for games of technical prowess. That is why KZ2 and Gears 2 get full respect from me, even though KZ2 is the technically more advanced game.

You do know that has very little to do with the overall graphics right? In most games the spiltscreen graphics aren't as good as single player. Pop-in increases, and draw distances decrease to keep the game running smoothly. Some effects and textures may not look as good as single player as well.

The non-sense of saying, "Is it really?"  You know full well that it IS.  You're not gonna give KZ2 any credit for it's technical achievements, huh?  Well, at least, you admit that we shouldn't take you seriously in these types of statements.

The funny thing is that people didn't seem to have any trouble acknowledging Gears 1 technical achievements.  However, now, with Killzone 2, it's "not about graphics".  For those people, they are very hypocritical.

32 player matches arent' a mess to me.  There is PLENTY of space to move around in with multiple levels to structures.  Warhawk is spaced out as well.  BTW, I swear Warhawk has the most immersive audio in a game!  I love it!

QFT.

After the initial "wow this is awesome" phase of any new game wears off, all that's left is the experience. I've had several awesome experiences. Even on the DS and Wii. Your comparison/debate may continue.

That gives you multiple layers, rather than starting out at just the experience.  Plus, the audio is a very important portion of that experience you're left with.
