Care to take what you said back?

Nope.

@ jo21 - Perhaps the full 3d thing is true. I picked MGS because I assumed it would be among the best looking PS1 games. I challenge you to find me a PS1 game that looks graphically better than that screenshot I posted from MGtouch. Any PS1 game, whether full 3d or not.

Jo, you also pointed out that the Iphone has the fastest processor clock speed of any 7th gen handheld. I'm not sure what your point was.

A JRPG - so you are trying to claim that the 2nd screenshot looks better than the first? I'm sorry, do you have any idea how silly you sound?

iPhone and iPod touch sales won't be big enough to be a threat to handhelds.

After all, the Nano is the most popular iPod product and people in most countries can't just buy an iPhone at will since they will have to sign another expensive call plan with AT&T, O2 and so on.

iPhone games are so casual, compared to most of them the whole slew of 'Babyz Partyz'-games on DS are hardcore. :p

Ever heard of an "exaggeration"? People use them to make stories sound better.

Also, no need to get offensive now.

* Edit: Also, we had Wolfenstein 3D on the GBA last generation, so there.

I would like to get your opinion on the iPhone and its effect on the portable gaming market.

I think if left to its own devices it will be bad for the industry. I don't know about you, but i like a little substance in my portable games, and many of the iPhone games are anything but that.

Also i'm tired of going to Joystiq and having every other article about some lame iPhone game.

I was gonna make a Wii comparison, but that would have been a little low.

Bolded is exacly what it still is a phone.

^it's obviously sprites and .. i have to assume it's a flash game because it looks like nothing else.

If that is the "power of the iphone unleashed" then .. Lol !

Check out my game about moles ^
