I know you are going to blast me for not taking a picture, but it did happen.

Today I was in my local Wal-Mart to buy some basketballs for my 6yr son's team (he just joined his first team and I'm going to coach). As I always do I strolled through the game section and BAM! there it was. The game center was completely switched.

It used to be in this order just a week ago.  mainwalkway->PS3/PSP endcap->PS3/PSP/PS2->360->walkway->Wii->DS. Of course each section had its own demo spots and tvs above.

Now its mainwalkway->Wii endcap->Wii->DS->walkway->360->PS3/PSP/PS2 with the demo spots all moved accordingly.

Nintendomination is clear at this point as not only do Nintendo products now have the higher visibility location, but they also have about 35% more shelf space.

Also, everywhere I go now there are wii fits and wii's instock equally as large as the piles of PS360s. I know this is kinda old news, but I just found it interesting as until the last few weeks I haven't seen more than 2-3 in stock. Now, I see 10+ easily in every store.

I hope they do the same in mexico D:

Wow that is really cool. My walmart still has the Nintendo products in the second row. However the Ds and Mario Kart have their own displays next to the MP3 players.

Weird, my Walmart has the PS3/360/PSP/PS2 in one section and the Wii and DS in another towards to the wall.

Though, my Walmart has Wii/DS towards the restock room. Clever. :P

Also, they finally have Wii and DS displays. They had Guitar Hero: Decades and Mario Kart Wii on Display.. too bad noone was playing it.

They also had a display for Pokemon Platinum and the DS. with Mario Kart Wii and Wii's underneath.

DS games have been slowly taking the place of PS2 games in our supermarkets in Ireland (which have very small games sections), that's pretty much the strongest sign of market dominance here

If only this made sense... I could have come up with a witty retort.

As it is though I shall just say "huh?" and ask for clarification.

thats the same with my walmart, today i saw over 20 wii's in stock. i have never seen more than 4 at my walmart. while i was their 5 wii's had been sold.

I still cant find Wii Fit anywhere

The super walmart here just switched everything also.
