Given Sony's usual 6-12 month announcement/release schedules (with a few notable exceptions), and since GT5 hasn't even been announced yet, and since it's highly probable that it's coming out this Christmas season..

I think the game is going to be announced at either TGS or E3, but I'm leaning towards TGS more, since the game is much more likely to come out in Japan first.

Prediction: (1) GT5 will be announced at TGS this year, will release around Christmas time in Japan, will be released in the west around April to June.

Or (2) GT5 will be announced at E3, with a simultaneous release at Christmas time worldwide.

What do you guys think?

Well since I believe than one of GT5 or GoW3 will make it out this year, and that God of Wars have previously came out in March, I agree with you.

..........Well this thread fails, GT5 has been announced for quite some time now.

Oh and don't count too much on GT5 being released in Japan this year, Polyphony Digital themselves said some time ago that it's probably going to be early 2010.

But if you mean the release date, im guessing it will be around February/March.

GTPortable will be announced at E3 with a release date possible for Christmas

Anyway... im expecting simultaneous WW release, if not that it should be within a couple of days.
