If you want to play a good game I suggest get Madworld, heck I suggest you buying 10 copies.

How much of Twilight Princess did you try? The first 2 hours are pretty damn slow, but after that it picks up tremendously. It'll take most people 50-80 hours to beat, so those first couple of hours will be a memory in no time.

Also: Madworld is fantastic.

You might like Battalion Wars 2, while you're at it.

I don't think most of us are arguing about what is a good introduction to the series.  It's just a bit shocking that a gamer on the forums could have gone without touching a Mario game until this generation.  Especially a forum like VGChartz.  And though I understand his situation, I still feel bad about him not getting to play some of the earliest groundbreaking titles.

But he can play them now! For the first time! He will have so much fun he doesn't even know it.
