360 is extremely overtracked. It hasn't even sold half that number. Wii also very overtracked.
Sony in general and PS3 completely dominates because money isn't a big factor in Scandinavia. People are much richer here than most everywhere else. And the Playstation brand is what matters to people. Bluray is also huge, because literally everybody have HDTV's.

You fabricated a big fat lie. The X360 ain't overtracked in Scandinavia. The X360 is a lot bigger than the PS3 in Sweden (but with Norwegian numbers it equals out a lil bit). Blu-ray is very tiny in Scandinavia, absolutely no one cares and you can't even rent many Blu-ray movies here at most rentals. And the HDTV penetration is not as high as u portray even if Sweden is a very rich country. Perhaps 30% of households have HDTVs.

PS3 dominates 360 in Denmark,Norway and Finland. In Norway and Denmark especially, PS3 is selling more than 3 times better than 360.
Only in sweden is 360 doing ok becuase you're much poorer. You also have by far the lowest hdtv penetration ratio because of that.

This. I only know 1 guy with a 360. And I don't even know him well. I've met him like twice. When i was out for midnight launch of GTA4. There was like 2 out of the maybe 50 people who were going to get it for the 360. I know my anecdotal evidence doesn't say much. But a travel a lot and i know a lot of people.. not to mention denmark is a pretty small country. So I know i'm right.
Another notion is that i already knew that the wii and the ps3 were selling roughly the same.. atleast it looked that way to me. WIth ps3 getting the best shelf space:p
I won't say anything about the other countries or reasons that it does. Personally i would like to think it portrays a consumer knowledge of quality and perhaps.. Well probably also brand loyalty :p
