Spot on... so really the 360 is doing a lot better then it has... where is that cherry picking definition when you need it.

Totally different situation. The sega saturn was leg-humped by japan, then the dreamcast flopped I think.
On the MS situation, japan basically shit on the face of the first xbox. But the 360 has managed to sell 1 million units, which no sony fanboy ever in his worst nightmare dreamed it would happen. Not good, but it's better than 400k. Over twice as better.
