I predict the same number (30,000) for Basara PSP - the last two games sold 7,000 (Wii version) and 25,000 (PS2) first week.

@ Star Scream: Despite all the competition on the PS2 for Odin Sphere, it had more than double the installed base the Wii currently does.  I'm sure, like Chrizum said, that it'll still be declared a bomb because everyone holds the Wii to a different standard for some odd reason.

Installed base doesn't even matter for most of the different types of standards I'm speaking of.

And becouse hordes of fanatiics always scream game XYZ would be profitable if only they released it on Wii.

Installed base doesn't even matter for most of the different types of standards I'm speaking of.

I'm just explaining the reasoning behind it. And it kinda goes hand in hand with Zlejedi's comment.

Basara will do at least 100k I guess, Muramasa probably will do 20k first week.

Also calling Winnin Post a flop on Wii is stupid, all the versions flopped. Still the Wii version flopped harder. Shows that a franchise that was never on a Nintendo platform can go either ways.

I agree with Chrizum that Muramasa will do 25K-30K first week.

100K for Basara on PSP might be too high.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Last Basara, Basara X for PS2 sold 50,000 LTD, 25-27,000 first week. No way this one will sell 100,000 first week. Not to mention the difference in the userbase. Basara PSP will be lucky to sell 25-30,000 first week.
