It's 256 players online. Everyone is going to be divided into squads and put in different places. Basically, it's going to be 8 vs 8 in one area, 8 vs 8 in another, etc according to the E3 presentation.

damnit , I Want 128 vs 128 Troy style . Or at least the ability to use transport to help crappier squads .

Unless it's like Battlefield 2 where you're just strolling along and all of a sudden you get tagged by a remote controlled rocket from a chopper from the other side of the map.

Or the enemy commander decides instead of a hotly contested control point, he see's you in  his UAV and decides to launch an artillary strike.
