I reckon a game's selling quite well if you have to conjure up some maths tomfoolery to get a figure out that makes it look bad.

Right. And don't forget the 78% that bought the PS3 to put a saddle on it and ride it like a pony.

Or the 89% that actually use the PS3 as a time machine.

+1  I am thinking more like the difference in user base is not as large as vg chartz and npd have speculated.  If everyone who rrod bought a back up 360 while waiting for there used unit to come back from microsoft, then that would account for why must multiplats lately have been more in favor of the ps3.  The amount of consoles that have people buying software is actually smaller than the actual user base as a whole (most people do not buy multiple copies of games when they have more than one system, etc, etc).

Very true, a few of my friends including me, although owns a 360, but prefer to wait for a PS3 version to be release. I've played both Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey on my 360 and the disc was always scratch by the machine, so i'll rather wait a year or so to play a better version of Eternal Sonata and Tales of Vesperia.

I bet Star Ocean 4 will be annouce for PS3 after releasing 1 year on 360 with additional contents and stuffs.

Anyways, I don't have Killzone 2. I'm probably not getting it until later on in the generation. I am not big on shooters. I also don't own Call of Duty Modern Warfare or World At War. I also don't own Halo 3. I own haze by a fluke in logic and I like Resistance because I enjoy the story. Otherwise, I don't think all PS3 owners are as guncrazy as 360 owners. ;)

 

Guncrazy 360 owners bought over 2 million and a half of medieval rpg's like Oblivion and Fable 2.
