Intresting view. However, personally I must disagree with the "funny as hell" similarity. I don't know why ... in my oppinion "No more heroes" was funny as hell, but "Madworld" wasn't. Maybe it has something to do, that I played the european (censored) version of "No more heroes" and the uncensored Madworld. Maybe it was, because I liked the main character of "No more heroes" much more than the main character of "Madworld". I gave "No more heroes" two playthroughs, however I am not sure if I will even finish "Madworld" (I think right now I only played 50 percent of the game).

The comedy in MadWorld comes from the comments the commentators make when you do something unlike No More Heroes which uses the cutscenes to portray its comedy.

@ BoneArk nice graph

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

And after you saw some people up he's even got a gigantic "red right hand" Nick Cave style.

@OP, MadWorld is also cel-shaded.  And it takes place in Varrigan City.

although they both have completely different graphical styles, I'd say that it's similar that they each use a very unique style (compared to everything else out there). you know what i'm sayin'?

Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

Well i own both games, and for me personally No More Heroes is a better game, not by much but its more fun, more open, longer and it has better boss fights. But they both great titles.

They're both pretty cool games. My hope is that NMH2 will fix the few parts of the game that were a little annoying and make it truly amazing.

The only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.

I haven't played MadWorld but I do agree that NMH would be the better game. Just simply because of the fucking Beam Katana!!!!!

One of the beam katana combos comes straight from the Star Wars game Revenge of the Sith. I think its an Anakin combo.

Ain't no rules in the jungle, if there were I wouldn't be here!!

Ya... Loved No More Heroes... I'm through 2 levels in Madworld and still not convinced it's more then a 7/10.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
