Gelmer said: It's not a matter of a game being perfect or not being a great game. It's a matter of developers being held to a higher standard, a professional standard, something severely lacking in Western developers. The fact that any patches had to be released is proof enough this game wasn't ready to come out. The degree to which the bug was a problem is inmaterial to the principle of the matter, professionalism, which is the real issue here.
I appreciate the fact you dissagree, but this has gone far beyond merely stating your opinion. People are entitled to be dissapointed and frustrated when things like this occur and don't need others belittling their concerns simply because they don't want to hear of it or have no problem with the issue. |
The patch i believe was nothing much, they added title music (big whoop) fixed one AI, which is decentlly important.
Higher standard they are, they cannot find every possible glitch, you name me one game that does not have a glitch.
I just dont want people to think that these bugs will make bioshock less of a good game, thats it, im not argueing the bugs.
I just want it to be a huge issue, ive really heard of no news of this.
Also every game will contain bugs and glitches, its something you cant change
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
