This also makes me think of Castlevania -- since the screen would freeze when you'd collect the orb after beating a boss, I always had to try to have a cool "action pose."

EPIC...i was doing #1 as I was reading this.

I would add jumping around like crazy in half life 2 cut scenes to the list (you know you did it).

I was guilty of the ammo one until a month ago when I began to think "What's the use of this?"

Oh man I so bad for doing #3 it gets me every time! or that an ea in the kid wispering "challenge everything".
