So, I've boiled down a new purchase recommendation to three choices.
Madworld
Oneechanbara
Rune Factory
Which one do I recommend and why. And please, don't make a replacement choice unless it's a very new game.

I would say Madworld, I have heard good things about it, it sounds like it could be a fun game
For you money's worth I would say Rune since well...talk to Noname he should help you out with how long it is...
Former something....

It depends. If you want a game that will definitely live up to its value in hours played I would go with Rune Factory. If on the other hand you don't mind a unique but woefully short experience then I would go with Madworld.
Here are some differences:
Madworld has a better story
Rune Factory has more variety in gameplay (choices on how to spend your time)
Madworld has a more unique and generally better presentation
weirdly enough Madworld has better character development in my eyes (I know....weird)
but Rune Factory has better characters.
Rune Factory has probably 100 hours of possible gameplay without starting over if you really enjoy it, and can be endless.
...
good to know.
It's a hard choice. Is Rune Factory fun? And if so how much so compared to the other two. Hasn't anyone played oneechanbara?

madworld is 100 times better than onechambara, i have both, believe me.
edit- also, onechanbara only lasts for a few hours too, less than madworld. while fun for the budget price, it gets kind of old.

I don't have any of these three, but from what I heard about them...
I would say Rune Factory, because Madworld is over priced and should drop in price within 6 months, so get it later. Rune factory is less likely to drop. At least Onechanbara is only $30.
