Wasn't there an issue that the powers that be wanted to release an upgraded graphics version on the Xbox 360 and the original on the Wii -- and Nintendo balked at this (and understandably so).

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Xbox LIVE....Microsoft owns RARE, Nintendo was cheap and let RARE go, so Microsoft deserves it. Or they could do both Wii & 360 versions, and the companies could split 60/40 since MS owns RARE.

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

Nintendo is a hush hush company so you really don't hear much of how it percieves the financial situation. We do however know that MS will take any opertunity to negativly slander a company. The real issue is that the specific game in question is Rare code and developement. Nintendo game in regards to publishing, but James Bond IP is yet again another company. Nintendo can't sell the game since Bond is Company C and can'r release due to the code being Rare/MS. MS can't release because Company C and Nintendo has publish/license rights to that specific game. Company C may show interest in selling, but doing so may impact current and future games.

Find an article that actually suggests that the game be released on both VC and Live. You probably won't find one. Though I will admit to being wrong. I just haven't seen one yet.

how about end this conflict and place it on the PSN?

On virtual console nintendo is definitely holding on to this one, (like a rotwiler(sp?) locking his jaw) after loosing the banjo series (i hope they're getting royalties)

Nintendo didn't lose Banjo because they never owned it. They aren't entitled to royalties. Anyhow I'm sure Nintendo is doing just fine financially.

How can nintendo not have a say in the banjo series? they had more involvement in banjo than goldeneye.  Aside from licensing and publishing they also funded developement.

on the VC! It needs to go where it belongs!

why not both??? I'd rather have it on the wii though
