Sony has a release of an updated vesperia and Ninja Gaiden 2. Frankly, Sony in that alone has one hell of a Fall lineup. Couple that with its other exclusives and this actually DOES look to be the year of the PS3, in games at least.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

and FF13 will hit japan.

 

and if any place GT5 will hit in 2009 would be in japan also

 

2009-2010 i think will be awesome for games for the ps3.

Only the most blind fanboys wouldn't see the 360 2008 lineup was subpar compared to the PS3 lineup. Saying '360 had the best lineup in 2008' is ridiculous.

It's wrong according to meta, it's wrong according to awards, it's wrong in game quantity, it's wrong in every way... Or am I missing something ?

 

 Yes, the sales. Saleswise Gears 2 alone outsells all the Sony xclusives of 2008. Almost.

If you say MGS4 and LBP, I say Gears 2 and Fable II. Sony wins that, but only with a lil bit.

Anyway, U fail in Ur attempt to bash the X360. U should realize that the remaining PS3 lineup looks very weak in 2009, with only Uncharted 2 as a fairly big game.
(Uncharted 2 has a chance at 2 million, but Infamous, Ratchet and Heavy Rain only barely have a chance at selling one mill)

if WKC comes out this year it will pass the million threshold no problem seeing as it already sold so well in japan it doesnt need much more. Million minimum. Same goes for Yakuza 3.

You think that game will sell 600k in America and Europe?

Ports and Sony first party games.

Oh wow i'm just running to the store to buy a PS3...

 

Call me when 3rd party devs actually give a crap about the PS3.

More Franchises >>>>>> Less Franchises

Forza 2 and Viva Pinata was bundled to hell !!!!!!! You only seem to remember about SONY bundles. Gran Turismo sell more than Forza 2 and PGR 4 COMBINED !
Tell me the whole list of franchises microsoft are publishing.
So far this year, the only noteworthy PS3 exclusive is KZ2 and for 360 its Halo Wars. And COD MW2 is a part of a HUGE franchise even better than HALO. So not only combined sales will eclispe PS3 exclusives, it willl outsell 360 exclusives - including HALO ODST. Sony as a publisher outsells MS software almost every week ! Just go to the publisher totals on this site. Sony also has a good amount of PSP studios too. Other than HALO, Gears , Fable and Forza (I love those games - except HALO for some reason) I don't see any other noteworthy MS franchises that sell over a million except Crackdown and PGR. Almost all Sony published games reach a million. BK3 struggles, Viva Pinata 2 struggled, Too human struggled. Sony franchises have good legs and their worldwidee studios are UNMATCHED !

thtyas jokes ps3 has the better line up but less adverts, so it will, sadly, combat with it very well.. even tho ur line up kinda sucks... (rare makes ok stuff, forza ahaahhaha gt way better and u no it)

has alen wake even been anouced for this year?

wow RAZ give it up. you knock ps3 games when bundled but praise the heaviest bundled game this gen which got outsold by a demo. your ridiculous
