Forums - General - How does your pet react when you get home?

My ferret doesn't seem to care, half the time she's asleep...but my dog acts like she hasn't seen me in years and jumps/runs around like an idiot for 10minutes straight...then she runs straight into my room and jumps on my bed and waits for me. I find it really amusing. So what does your pet do? Do they even care, pee from the thrill, jump around, what?

My daughter is my world.

My one dog oliver jumps up and fusses you for about 15 minutes. My other dog Trevor tries to do the same, but he's a bit too smart to let it go on for ages, he knows when he's greeted you enough... My cats a wanker and doesn't greet me at all.

usually waits for me to get in before he uses the litter tray, little fucker.

Lol, my dog does the exact same thing. He'll greet you at the door with a shoe or one of his destroyed stuffed animals (he takes out the cotton innards and the skin is left of them) and then run onto the couch thinking that you should sit down and stay awhile. He's nuts over my mom, though. He looks out the window on the back of my couch everyday for my mom to come home (on weekdays). When he sees my mom's car, he starts wimpering and then yelping. Then he'll run around the house in a flurry (on the main floor, where the middle part on the first floor is wrapping around the stairs going upstairs and the ones into the basement) and he'll bark at me or my dad when he just wants to see my mom. If we open the door to the basement and to the garage, he'll storm down the stairs and dash outside. We've had to install sensors on our garage door so when it shuts, it doesn't crush him (happened to my cousin's old dachshund; she had 2 but they died, so they now have a new one). I have a dachshund too, and his name is Oscar. Xtastemyvenom knows my last name, though, which goes along with my dog's first name...lol

Right now my dachshund is laying beside my legs with his head on my one leg.

^ Is your last name wylde?

My cat comes down the steps to the door, when she hears us jiggling the key in the lock, but once we enter, she jets upstairs. When we get up, she then rubs against our legs.

Or she continues sleeping and doesn't really care. It's about a 50/50 split.

my dog usually just greets me at the door and starts jumpin on me then runs into my room
