I can't believe that a post in a blog would have that much of an impact. If those people were really Dragon Quest fans wouldn't they know exactly when the game would be released? It seems like some people don't do any fact checking.

Just because in America you find your typical asshole right around the corner with a dumb April fools joke doesnt mean that other cultures are use to it . I sound like a broken record i know .

Ya I guess that would be really cruel if the people in that town are trusting and everything and the fact that most people in Japan probably do not even know that April Fools is an actual thing that people do.

I am one of those people that sometimes do not think outside of what I know(the US) and sometimes forget that other cultures are completely different to ours. Just because it is common here and we are used to it doesn't mean that everyone else knows about it.
