@shadownblind

why are YOU excited?

Why wouldn't I be? A rerelease of th greatest JRPG this gen so far is something NOT to be excited about?

Come to think of it, I'm more excited for this then NGS2, and thats my #1 most anticipated right now :D

Plus, it'll come with extra content.  Sony requires it for all late ports!

i'm torn.

i was going to get tov for the 360 since it was reported discontinued, but now i'm wondering if i should hold off on it.

other than cod, i don't use the 360 for much. i should have gotten the arcade model.

an official report should come out in the next couple of weeks. i'll decide then.

u may wanna pick it up ,  not sure if this is coming to the west , hell we are not sure if it's coming to japan either.

Yeah, Symphonia for PS2 was never released in the West, despite it being the marketleader by far. Chances are that Vesperia PS3 will never leave Japan.

Vesperia 360 isn't even released in Europe yet, so localization isn't really a priority for Namco.

From gaf:

Namco originally had no intentions of bringing Tales of Symphonia to the US. However, Nintendo later asked for Namco to bring Symphonia to the US and offered to publish the localized version. Nintendo funded the translations, voice acting, and also helped promote the game by giving it a front cover on Nintendo Power. The game went on to sell fairly well in the US. Seeing as it was published by Nintendo outside of Japan, it is highly unlikely that the PlayStation 2 version will ever be released outside of Japan.

---It's funny that the "non-PS3-owners", let's leave it at that, react in every forum the same.

If this is true

then good for the JRPG fans on the PS3 out there I hope you enjoy it :)

now give us Demon Soul ^^

Forget Demon's Souls, if that suppose to be a RPG then its the most boring and depressing game I've ever played.

But what if it's true!

Then I'm gonna throw myself a party but until then I consider it as n.o.n.s.e.n.s.e, as a RPG fan with PS support I have  already been disappointed enough on that area.

Good to see someone else likes FFX-2.

OT, funny enough, I listed this game as a reason I'd want a 360 on another recent thread. Looks like LO is my only reason now.

Yes, those two girls are my all time favorite female characters especially in Japanese Oh yes and Lulu.

OT... um... dunno... carry on.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

i want this and WKC to come asap! I cant wait anymore. I am in need of my rpg fix. disgaea 3 have been played to death by me. eterna sonata is just too bland.

i predict that SO4 will probably come to PS3 somewhere in the future.

I think LO2 will be made multiplatform too.

But Eternal Sonata was released worldwide, so why wouldn't TOV be?

Eternal Sonata isn't Tales.

We'll see if it comes, but evidence has the contrary.

You got that right

Tales is much bigger

I don't see why it won't be localized

Haha, most people don't like Paine. I thought she was ok. My fav female award would have to go to Aya Brea of the parasite eve series. She just had that silent confidence and gusto, didn't mind going solo and was really powerful. This is unlike most other female characters.

If that was in reference to my post...I  knew that. I just have to decide if that game alone is worth  the purchase of a 360

BTW if agreement was to not expose details of port before end of financial year 2008 then would publishing it on first day of 2009 fiscal year be a slap on MS face from japanise publisher :D
