I really don't see an argument for any other game. Wii Fit is a distant 2nd. Everything else is fighting over a distant 3rd.

Impact nothin', I just grin like a child every time I do so much as boot up Mario Galaxy. I can't help what I like.

I think Galaxy is the best 3-D platformer ever with no competition.  It's one of the greatest games of this generation and of all time, but I don't think history will remember it as "the game of this generation."  That's totally Wii Sports.
