I am getting FUBARed by April 1st in that I am doubting almost everything people are putting up during April 1st, like Encarta going down, Bungie's BUNGLE and so on.

i hate getting my hopes up :\

Another stigma in today's society.

I know we're all game junkies here, but if you guys poked your head into other areas of the internet you'd find some pretty hilarious satirical jokes made today.

Google, Nine Inch Nails, and Chris Cornell come into mind.

To be honest, every next April Fools is just getting lamer and lamer. All faked things posted are predictable and obvious. It's not amusing anymore, it's just sad.

More people would get upset if it's not too obvious. A good joke should fool you for a little bit but let you see the humor in it. If you are still not sure after reading the whole article and thinking about it for more than 5 minutes, they went too far.

For example, if the XBOX 360 price drop was to $179, and had more realistic photoshop with a current PS3 model it would have caused far more damage as more people fell for it.  A good April fools joke, especially on the internet leaves some clues.
