So you own a Wii, X360 or PS3? A cominbination of two of the three? Maybe all three? Anyway explain to me why the hate over the other console systems that you do not own? Could it be jealously?

j/k, I don't hate the other consoles; you can't hate an inanimate object but if you do then you have problems. I just 'prefer' the PS3 and want it to be the best

I usually tend to just get a bit itchy when people decide to bash a console for no apparent reason. And that's when I usually reply in such threads.

i dont understand why people hate the other consoles either. i have all 3 and prefer ps3 as lead console but that dont mean i hate the other 2 or dont buy any games for them.

what i cant stand the most is when people want another consoles to fail, ppl have paid good money for them

Its more hatred for the company.

In my case its Sony. They upset me almost as much as Apple do.

However I concede that the Ps3 is a good bit of kit, just stupidly priced.

Sony suck coz of

Rootkit, Overpromising, Overpricing, refusal to adopt common standards.

Other people will feel the same way about MS and the mighty Nin.

A PS3 may yet enter the Cypher household but only when its sub 250$ and yes I do apprecaite it will be a long wait

As for why i dont like the Wii.. .. its not HD and i fear it for my own reasons..

no, the hatred is mainly due to either of two reasons:

1.) insecurity about one's console purchase - he's not sure whether he bought the right one so he'll go online and trade virtual punches so that he can justify to himself that his console purchase was correct (most true with ps3 owners).

2.) "my stick is bigger than your stick" - the natural human need to gloat over others (most true with 360 and Wii owners).

Microsoft ruined my old computer by having windows crash. :( Dang you random company that doesn't need my money because you have a monopoly.
