17% of PS3 games have an 85 or higher review score

According to Edge’s graph o’ the week, data complied by Entertainment Design and Research shows that 17 percent of PS3 games released between 2006 and 2008 have received review scores of 85 or higher.

By contrast, 30 percent received a score of 65 percent or lower.

Last week’s breakdown of Xbox 360 review scores showed 13 percent with a score over 85 and 38 percent under 65.

Metacritic

360 - 60 games 85+
360 - 239 games 65 or lower
360 - 598 games overall

PS3 - 44 games 85+
PS3 - 98 games 65 or lower

I guess all that matters is which console the most of the best?

360 still has more 85+ games so this thread is kinda pointless (and funny )

Both system have an amazing set of quality games. I would be interested to see how many of those 85% and above games are multi-plat on both systems.

My guess is a lot.........

by itself this graph is useless.
we need month to month comparisons to actually see any trend

Who put out these numbers? Sony?

Either way it oozes Fail.
