@waron...its proven already that most people who hav said that they will buy GOWIII dont even hav a ps3 so that means when its releasd ps3's gonna sell like crazy!!

FF13 will be the most noticeable spike with Japan. Such a large title the PS3 could easily sell anywhere from 100k to 250k in that one week. But after that it would be about where it levels out at. Same with Versus but on a smaller scale.

God of War 3 will give it a spike but something more like KZ2 if I had to guess but a little bit larger. Gran Turismo 5, though is the one that really could help it all around the world. Easily one of the largest mainstream properties in gaming, could start getting some of those casual gamers that were on PS2 and PS1 to invest back into a PS3. Not to mention if they tied a price drop with this or a really good bundle, it could really do some damage.

Any other games like Uncharted 2, infamous, etc will probably just give spikes or a GTA IV effect, which was nothing. But until then its GT5 and FF13/Versus are the only ones I think could have long lasting effects and with FF13 only in Japan.

yeah it will be HUGE boost...just like with GTA4. you think that people will wait for GT5 and GOW3 release when there are already tons of similar games on ps3? think again.

As soon as Blu-ray 3D comes around and games start utilizing it... It's over bitches!

On a Side note: Anybody see Monsters vs. Aliens 3D?... sooooo awesome. It's good to know that all future Dreamworks titles will be in 3D.

Now imagine if HD-DVDs had that when the HD battle for media was on.... system seller. Too bad, now Blu-ray gets it. Cry On, Xbots? o_O
