Forums - General - Is my music telling me to "kill" people?

 Well, I usually listen to metal, hard rock, or coldplay.

Recently I noticed one of the songs from one of my favorite bands, Dio might be saying something to me..

The event happened while I was listening to Egypt (the chain are on). About 4 minutes into the song I notice a faint whisper I had never noticed before. I rewinded over that point several times, and it's there every time I go over that spot.

I know metal music makes a persons adrenaline pump, and sometimes ou can even get pissed off, but this was unlike anything I have experienced with music. Are there REALLY subliminal messages in songs?

if your sure about your philosophy, god can come down, tell you to kill someone and you wont do it, so subliminal messages or songs abou killing shouldn't affect you

i'm just saying you shouldn't care if your music has subliminal messages or straight forward "go kill your mom" messages as long as you are aware its just a song and you shouldn't take it seriously.

the stairway to heaven thing is such BS. I know a guy who wont listen to led zeppelin because of that... but I've heard it. It barely almost kinda sounds like they say "666" but not really. At all. What the conspiracy theorists say it says... well it doesn't sound like it at all. You want too see something cool, try running a spectrogram program on some aphex twin. Now there's really stuff intentionally hidden there. And its pretty cool.
