TP clocks in at about 80 hours and once you are done, you'd be too lazy to play it again for the most part because while it's very good and addicting, you get that uh...... feeling if you want to play it again so soon afterwards whereas SMG has a ton of replay value since you are free to choose the levels once you beat the game and you can keep going back to it, collect all the stars, beat the game again with Luigi if you want since he controls a little differently, etc. If you want a game that'd last you a very long time though, Mario Kart is your answer, online or offline, that game is insanely fun and you don't get tired of it while you play online.

If you're a Zelda fan then get Galaxy. TP is a huge letdown.

I loved Twilight Princess, but Super Mario Galaxy was the best game I'd played since 2005. There is no question.

Twilight princess was amazing. I had a much better time with twilight princess then mario galaxy myself.

Really... you have to get both.

but if you don't have a lot of free time at the moment, I'd get Mario.. don't get me wrong you can get a lot of play out of that game but not nearly as much as you would with Zelda (unless you plan on getting all 120 stars)

I would go with SMG first then Zelda. Personally I had more fun with SMG than Zelda although both are great games.

Mario Galaxy, as good as Twilight Princess is, it's a Gamecube game at heart whereas Galaxy is Wii game from head to toe.

I love the Zelda series far better than the Mario games but to say that you should play twilight princess over Galaxy, on my part, would not be fair.

dont get me wrong The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a Great game but to deprive you from what is possibly the greatest video game ever created would do you injustice..

Super Mario Galaxy hands down.(but don't skip Zelda, play it after.)

I vote for Mario, but you should get both as soon as you get the chance.
