I have to (partly) agree with Montana.... Super Mario Galaxy is the better game.... though both are amazing.

Super Mario Galaxy. As much as I love Zelda, Mario Galaxy is the superior game.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

It's only my opinion. If you're going by what I say, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by reviews, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by consumers (and I mean sales), Super Mario Galaxy. And if you're looking for a great game that's fun from beginning to end, Super Mario Galaxy.

 

 

I really enjoyed SMG, but we both know it only sold that well because it has mario in it's name... It does deserve the sales it has though.

just decide if you want a platformer or an action/adventure game.

And I'm guessing that Twilight Princess sold so well because it was a Zelda game.

To the thread creator, buy Super Mario Galaxy. It's a beautiful game, with varied levels and creative design. Don't even hesitate.

Yes, but Zelda is less popular then Mario. And I never used that argument, I just said that you shouldn't decide which game to get by just looking at what sold the most...

Haven't played zelda:tp, but I would get SMG. Why? It's a game made for the wii. Zelda:tp is a gc port. Buy a real wii game as your first one :)

well you have a lot more things to do and is more rewarding in Mario Galaxy than in Twilight Princess...
