In my humble, and very mainstream opinion, I would have to go with Mario 64 for the way it perfected a genre, as a launch title no less, and changed the way platformers have been made to this very day.
I am not nearly as "hardcore" as many of the posters here at VGC, though, so I am curious to find out what your opinions are, and why.
That would be either Pong, PacMan or Super Mario Bros.

This would be your answer. (I personally think the third one had the biggest impact, new genre, new graphics, revived gaming).
Perhaps a better question would have been, which single game had the biggest impact on how we play games.

Imma have to go with this. Pong IMO is the most since it actually brought gaming home

I guess Super Mario Bros. for NES if I had to pick one game, however there are plenty of other games I consider groundbreaking and revolutionary.
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^
