25-year-old dies while playing Wii Fit

.examiners_body img{padding:5px;}

*May cause serious injury or death, apparently.

A 25-year-old man in the UK died suddenly while playing Wii Fit with his girlfriend.  Tim Eves, an active and healthy man, was a scout leader and drummer in a rock band (a real one, not the game).

Mr. Eves had just gotten off the phone with his mother and was jogging in place on the Wii Balance Board when he just slumped over.  His girlfriend, Emma Tuck, and another friend, Lewis Hickin, immediately rushed to him and tried to revive him.  When unsuccessful, they called for an ambulance.

Mr. Eves was pronounced dead on arrival by the paramedics.  The cause of death is still to be determined, but the family has been told he was killed by Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (which is also a way of saying that they don't know).

He didn't die because of Wii Fit, he just happened to collapse while playing it.

He could've just as well died while eating a bowl of cereal. Sorry for his family.

The red marked part above shows, that the writer of the article hasn't played the game. You don't jog on the board. Jogging is one of the few exercises of WiiFit, which you do without the board.

Al qaida behind nintendo confirmed? Myamoto terrorist confirmed? Yes, and yes!

Well, I knew someone who died of a heart attack while doing yoga.

This isn't the first time it's happened. A woman in Britain died playing Wii Fit for no apparent reason either. It probably has more to do with overexerting themselves than anything else, but you just know that someone is going to blame it on the game.
