I think the discussion in this very thread has proven Nintendo's point that the core gamers will never be satisfied, regardless of what they do.

Exactly. Some 3rd party developers hear our cry and put out some great games this year and next. But Nintendo in this interview is being a maliputive bitch.
You remember when I said your definition of the word 'core' was wrong? I hope so, because I'm saying it again.
your definition of core is wrong
Edit:
100% completion of brawl is much more lengthy and difficult than 100% completion of melee. I never played Sunshine, but I imagine Galaxy is harder. My spidey sense is telling me that you haven't played Galaxy, or that if you have you got 60 stars and thought that that meant you'd finished.
No Sunshine is much harder,BUT Galaxy is no doubt a better game by far.
Sunshine was a letdown.
KylieDog do you remember that conversation we had where you don't get to decide what words mean?
"Hardcore" has nothing to do with difficulty. It hasn't for a long time.

yes if that were the case things like GodHand and MadWorld are some of the most hardcore games ever.
MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"
Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

And "core" refers to a gaming demographic - those who already play games and have for years. Its relationship to "hardcore" is imaginary.

QFT
Galaxy isn't close to being as good as Sunshine is.
Maybe for casual fans that play platformers maybe once every generation...

Pretty much.
During the gamecube era- ""NINTENDO DON'T DO ANYTHING NEW! THEY JUST KEEP REHASHING AND REHASHING GOD DO SOMETHING NEW NINTENDO!""
The Wii era- ""GOD NINTENDO STOP MAKING THESE NEW ""CASUAL"" GAMES! I WANNA NEW MARIO! I WANNA NEW ZELDA! I WANNA HARDCORE EXPERIENCE!""
Dear everyone on the forum. Nintendo make games for you (basement dwellers) and make games for those casuals (familys, children, older people, women, functioning members of society) so can you honestly blame them to keep making games for casual audiances since they make more money, its like nintendos a business or something...
