The new control is great... but the 30 day limit is still there... :(

I havn't played Pikmin before, but I'm waiting for the superior Pikmin 2 all the same since it'll be out soon enough anyway.

I also recommend Pikmin to everyone, despite having not played the New Play Control version. The PAL version comes with widescreen and 60 Hz mode, something that the GC release didn't feature.

 

However, people don't trust you because you have a kim possible avatar and you're simply a lying son of a bitch from Australia who cheats at Mario Kart and hates Nintendo.

Never played Pikmin all the way through, I'm liking the New Play controls so far. can't wait till Pikmin 3 comes out now!

I have to agree with the OP on this game. I bought it a couple of weeks ago without any knowledge of Pikmin whatsoever, and this game totally blew me away.
If you have played this game before, there is apparently nothing new except for the control scheme, which probably doesn't warrant a rebuy, but if you never tries this game out the first time around, then you HAVE to get it, this game is absolutely brilliant. To be honest, it is now one of my favorite Nintendo franchises, and i have only played the first one.

I never played the first one because of this, and I already played the second one on the GC.
