Forums - Gaming - Killzone 2 “glitchers” could face PSN ID ban!

Killzone 2 has some bugs. Exploit them in multiplayer from now on and not only could you get kicked from games, you could actually lose your PSN ID. Seriously.

“Glitchers risk losing their PSN ID altogether,” Guerrilla said on the game’sofficial Twitter.

“We’ve been quite lenient so far, but that’s going to change.”

Don’t mess. Thanks, Destructoid.

I'd say that it is about time.  I personally have never used them and I think that it makes it unfair.  What do you think?

yes, they should be banned.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

bt does it really matter? its not like xbox live where you pay for your subscription. Cant you just copy all your game save data and make a new account?

Long Live SHIO!

Unfortunately I do not believe it works that way. PSN id = gone = Lost All!

What about fixing the glitches instead? There are certain glitches in Mario Kart Wii that people exploit, but I've never seen anyone getting banned for them. The same way that no one got banned for doing rocket jumps on Quake.

Hacking the software to cheat is definitely ban-worthy, but exploiting glitches?

Am I missing something here? Are those glitches more like bugs which require a hack?

By stating such a thing they could just want to scare people not to use it. And how do they know you're exploiting a glitch?

Nice glad at least Guerrilla is actually making some strict comments on the glitches in Killzone 2. Because in Halo 3, it is still rapid and annoying as heck. I mean it happens very rare but once you see people lag and they end up pulling a 11-2 lead over you. It because really annoying and frustrating!

they should be warned first, then definately banned. Because what if you come across a glitch by accident (which is how they're first found) then its not fair if you get banned immediately

I think it will help stabalise the Warzone community a little. Fix the glitches as they can, but avoid letting someone exploit them...

warning then ban
