I know what you guys are thinking. You think that I'm blowing my own horn, but honestly I'm not trying to be an obnoxious braggart here. There are several members that have much higher profile views (pichu pichu, for one, is closing in on 100 K) but it just made me think to myself that it is a pretty high number.
It made me wonder to myself... Where all of these profile views come from?
Clicking on my own profile in order to see that number go up is about as exciting to me as urinating on an electric fence so it isn't that. I do have quite a few wall posts and have had maybe one or two messages sent to me
, but 20 K is still a pretty high number.
I can think of a few things that have contributed to this number:
- People posting on my wall in order to get me to respond in order to give them profile views (you know who you are and anyone can look now to see who you are).
- People giving me instant messages in order to tell me to stop lying about my age because it obvious, due to the way I act, that I am much younger than that .
-People giving me instant messages to inform me that they are on to the fact that I'm an undercover Sony fan posing as a Nintendo fan.
- The random, "You have an attitude problem. Don't you?" sort of thing.
- Someone telling me that I need to do something about my popularity and start creating threads.
These are all contributing factors that I actually can put my finger on, but what about the others? I'm sure that someone that reads this probably has clicked on my profile. Why? Do you want to know about my hobbies? What kind of music I like? If I am single or married? What's your reason? Don't be shy. If you clicked on my profile, let me know why.
I am expecting at least 1,000 more profile views after this thread.
