I thought this was going to be about a new NFL Blitz game. I was pleasantly surprised it was not.

As for 3d gaming, it won't happen until auto-3d television (3d without glasses) sets become widespread. Anything requiring the goofy glasses will get shunned by the mainstream.

Hahaha, easier said than done =D

@wessleWoggle: blitz won't take off, the market has been rejecting the silly glasses for decades. There are auto-3d television sets which means you get 3D TV without glasses, now these might take off. If they do, yeah you'll need a new TV.

Indeed. 

It's just that I don't really think it'll take off. Audiences have been rejecting the glasses for decades.

And if you have to buy a new TV to play 3d games, you are gonna buy an auto-3d display.
