- The battle system looks great
- The sprites are Waaaay to small in and outside of battle, its like all this extra area. I love sprites but for a sprite game are very under detailed even for PS2, these PS1 level
- The dungeon layout looks boring almost randomized lookin
- No world map
thats it for now, i stkll pick it up for a decent JRPG to play
Pretty cool that we all used the same demonstration.
I admit the dungeon parts are not the greatest, I want it just for the battle system and 2D old school sprites.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I don't understand why people think that Sony is at a disadvantage going last because all the major multiplatform announcements will occur at Microsoft's show.
The truth of the matter is, even if Sony were going first, they wouldn't show off any multiplatform titles anyway. Sony has to fit 4 platforms worth of announcments, demonstrations, and trailers into 90 minutes. They aren't going to waste their time talking about games that will just end up being covered by their respective publishers. Unless it's a AAA high profile exclusive such as Metal Gear Solid 4, don't expect to see it at Sony's conference outside of their upcoming game compilation videos.
If anything, I'd say that Sony is at an advantage by going last because they'll have the the most recent announcements which will remain fresh on the minds of those in attendance and those who watch all the conferences. They'll also be able to see what the competition is bringing to their respective conferences and make adjustments to their own, if necessary.
The reality is that there is nothing else for Microsoft to steal in terms of exclusives. Aside from MGS, there is nothing left. And Microsoft has a habit of having a megaton year, and then a boring year.
06 - GTA IV multi-plat
07 - Boring, Halo 3 focus
08 - FFXIII multi plat
09 - Nothing :)
Too early for a GTA announcement, since they still have to put out the other piece of DLC. Sony will have tons to announce though. Possible PS3 price-cut, PSP2/PSP4k, Tons of PSP games (apparently there are more), showing the PSP games, PS3 games (GoW3 Playable?, GT5?) PSN focus, and their overall strategy going into the holiday season. Plus Kojima is announcing a game, which will most likely be something with MGS, and presumably exclusive to a PlayStation platform (Maybe not MGS5 this soon, but a MGS4: Existance with Raiden playable to go into his story, or another MGS: PO for the PSP, which the cut-scene artist from the first one confirmed to be in the works over a year ago).
Should be a nice E3.
^ i dont kno, im not coutning MS out, tricky bastards

I can't help but feel you throw too much of what you want to happen into your assessments. There is no reason to think that Microsoft's announcement will be any worse than last year.
Gears of War 2-----> Halo 3: ODST
Fable II -----> Mass Effect 2
Fallout 3-----> Modern Warfare 2
Resident Evil 5 -----> BioShock 2
Saints Row 2 -----> Assassin's Creed 2
- Final Fantasy XIII multiplatform announcement
+ Forza Motorsport 3
+ New Rare Game
etc.
It can basically be the same presentation, just with different games and some actually worthwhile new game announcements.
Furthermore, I'm come up with my own ideas on Sony's conference based on last year's. Read it over and feel free to share what you think.
Resistance 2 demo -----> God of War III demo
LittleBigPlanet demo/keynote -----> LittleBigPlanet PSP demo/keynote
R&CF: Quest for Booty trailer -----> R&CF: A Crack in Time trailer
Resistance: Retribution -----> Daxter 2 or Killzone: Liberation 2
GTTV shit -----> Gran Turismo 5 trailer (RELEASE DATE!)
DC Universe Online trailer -----> Uncharted 2 trailer
inFamous trailer -----> Heavy Rain trailer
God of War III teaser -----> Twisted Metal teaser
M.A.G. trailer -----> Trico trailer

You havd MS as having 4 multis 2 exclusives(one of which may go multi) as a big year?
