Forums - Gaming - The Next Metal Gear Will Not Be As Epic (If Multiplatform)

If that new title will came for the Wii, it will be great, and if it came for 360, it will be the SAME as the PS3 version.

I honestly think there is a small chance Microsoft has paid big $$ for the next Metal Gear game to be a timed exclusive to the 360.

They will do the same bullshit as last year where the E3 conference almost ends then what will happen is Hideo Kojima will stroll back onto the stage and say..
" Oh yeah I forgot one last thing" and they will then announce it.

but you really have to wonder why Microsoft would really want a MGS game. Kojima was directly making fun of the 360 in MGS4. There is really no honor in all of it.
The bottom line is $$$. And Microsoft has it.
As much as I hate to say it,
I would be shocked if the next Metal Gear stayed a PS exclusive.

it would be like putting Gears on the PS3... sure its possible but it would just seem so out of place, wouldn't it?

Lets hope the Artist in Kojima holds onto that integrity and doesn't sell out. Unfortunately Konami isn't as visionary as Kojima himself, but then again.. few are.

̶3̶R̶D̶   2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

What? No. If Gears was on the PS3 it would be great. More people would get to play it.

meh the game will be as good or as bad a kojima wants it to be multi platform or not. So stupid article, it is up to him to decide how it will turn out.

Kojima would never allow his game to be inferior due to being multi.

A port later on could happen but the game will be designed for one platform.

Wasnt MGS on PS2? When Xbox was more powerful? Hmm..

It seems you completely missed his point... Besides, that was a VERY different case.

No, he's right on. If Kojima cared about those issues, he'd have developed the ps2 mgs for the first xbox.
