Prolly not, after freezing employee's salaries & the losses they've had but gotta do what you have too in order to stay competitve. A PS3 price cut would be nice though, sooner rather than later

Well, they do also get $0.16 cents back for every download for the first 60 days.

"It's all very well for us as platform holders to say 'put all your money into PlayStation Network, it's a fantastic idea', but are we prepared to put or money where our mouth is? The answer is yes," Chris Eden, Sony's development relations manager, told an audience at the Game Developers Conference today.

Would indicate that was the case.... to me anyway.
