OH GOD.
Activison...why? The average person is not going to know what the game is a sequel to.
Plus the name just sounds dumb now.
I guess Activision wants CoD to really be WWII only, anything else is chaos.

My latest guide on GameFAQs, for Little King's Story! Read it here
I still think they are in discussions, I have a feeling we will be seeing CoD on the shelves this November

My only guess is they are trying to make it into two seperate franchises. Not that it really means much, but I guess they hope people would be more receptive to one CoD and one MW game every other year than a CoD game every year. Probably trying to make sure CoD doesn't suffer the same fate as Tony Hawk.
Hey, on that picture, it's Rio de Janeiro, Brazil isn't it?
But war... war never changes
@ tyig, yes, which is why people assume that it is going to take place there (and better feature Gaz and Price!!!)
Also, why are you posting this Darth, as you don't have CoD 4 (I have probably told you 100 times to get the game and you have probably already explained to me why)
It's all part of the milking strategy. They effectively got to make two direct sequels to modern warfare, and dropping the "Call of Duty" name adds to the effect that this is the 'true' sequel to Modern Warfare.
Knowing Activision, this is almost certainly their strategy.
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
