As far as I can see, just 30 titles have sold more than 3M in Japan (MHF2G being the 30th, currently placed nr 28).

This is the first EVER non Nintendo non Square Enix game to break that.

By the looks of it, this title should breeze past 3.5M, and it should definitely become one of the top 20 sellers in Japan.

Edit: Maybe not. Wii Fit/Play/Sports will all probably beat this, making it need 3.8M to make the top 20.

Of course, it still has a shot. It has been selling 100K/Month so far in the year. It could beat all non-Nintendo games. Needs 1.1M more (that's beating DQ7 at 4.12M).

It will be Capcom's 5th best selling game ever. And the best selling in the last 10 years.
